The idea is to take the piss out of the people saying Katy copied Gaga. Nobody cares basically is what I'm trying to say 'get over it'. Pop Culture always repeats itself, and in this case Katy jumped at the seashells before Gaga. In short, it was meant as a joke. No need to get angry about it because I agree with you.
