And it turns out she's just not able to anymore. When you say she isn't able to live up to those expectations now, are you referring to her art or her are you referring to her online kindness shtick? Can you imagine as an artist how frustrating it is to be accused of plagiarizing every concept you have while your peers get off scot-free for copying you? She is human, don't hold her to a higher standard then you would hold yourself too. What was Katy supposed to do with the song. It's about a horse, has horse in the tittle.
