jxckk 959
nope, if it had kendrick lamar on it as originally planned then it would have gotten a few plays on a hip hop station, apart from that, nope
GoldenNovember 447
Partynauseous is a bop, whenever I hear it I feel like dancing all night I don't know if it would've smashed, though. It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.
IAmTheX 0
But for me it's a fun song with a basic production... nothing too special
mic 1,415
I didn't want GUY as a single... I was rooting along with Gaga for Venus. Why are you so skeptical that Scheisse wouldn't have smashed? Because it wouldn't. It sounds too intense yet bland same issue as GUY
Elizabeth 450
I think it would've done fairly well, who knows?
TimisaMonster 31,073
Because it wouldn't. It sounds too intense yet bland same issue as GUY Many feel differently... That's just your opinion about a song that was never released. Nobody knows... Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
Stache 0
I don't think so. It's a rather odd song albeit fairly catchy at some points. The lyrics are really weird too though "and a buzz buzz buzz buzz"??? But I'd still love to get the studio version someday.

Alcohol/party songs are usually fairly successful and that's what the song is presented as. In the hashtag culture we live in the song would have done fairly well imo. Not a number one, but top 10 for sure. Maybe even top five. High with the enemy/make love to the enemy would have caught on big, I think. Would have been a huge hit in clubs without any doubt. RyanBall 1
I've only heard a snippet and it sounds no better than anything else from ARTPOP so I don't see why it couldnt do well. Don't think it would 'smash' though
tokyodisko 0
People thinking it's basic--- Is it "basic" or just not your cup of tea? Hard, heavy, persistent bass does not make it basic. She's a pop/dance artist after all. It's just as innovative, if not moreso, than ARTPOP imo.

BloodyM 1,256
Ofc it would have smashed, the sound is epic.
Mills 446
Unsure if it'll "smash" in the sense of topping all the major markets and selling more than 6 million worldwide, considering the commercial reception this entire era had received so far. But if there's one thing for sure, I'd always prefer this kind of song over Fashion! or MJH... or J&D.
