So you think a Heavy Metal Influenced song belong at a RAVE. C'mon guys. I see where you're coming from, but most of the singles from BTW are very hard-hitting dance songs? Save for Yoü and I. It just seems odd she'd do the major singles from TF, all the singles from TFM, but only one single from BTW... acoustic. For whatever reason she didn't include them, I feel like it's not because of the 'killed the rave' vibe. And if that was so, then that's kind of disappointing. Also sad about Dope, but that's just me personally- best song on the album imo. Oh well. I like the show, anyway! Yeah 90's dance, not RAVE. JusticeforVenus 950 Posted May 5, 2014 Share Posted May 5, 2014 born this way has faster songs tho honestly its really selfish that people like me who are going to a gaga concert for the first time (artrave) cant hear born this way songs live. half the setlist was fame/fame monster hits. and it doesnt have to be born this way singles only. i dont know, its just annoying how she seems so bent on referencing the fame/fame montser all the time this era but god forbid she pay the same respect to born this way. she will also forget the ARTPOP era when it is over...she will just sing applause (like btw).... and thats so cuz her TF and TFM singles were her :Slay: singles.... NO its selfish to pay more respect to a certain part of her musical past than another, and further a superiority that aligns with what others consider popular. its just contradictory to everything she stands for. its not about the ARTPOP songs vs non ARTPOP song ratio! its the fame/fame monster songs to born this way songs ratio that proves my point. Yo, she's gonna perform her main hits from previous album cycles. Born this way didn't spawn many hits. Most people that go to a lady gaga concert don't know many of her deep cuts. She wants to make the show accessible to them. Plus think of the theme. And you also have to remember born this way isn't exactly associated with the best of memories for her. She broke her damn hip singin those songs. She just wants to move on. Also this isn't directed toward you but have any of you been to an actual rave?! I think she really wanted to do something very different than BTWB in term of music. AND she only performed her biggest and most famous hits : Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Alejandro, Telephone and BTW.
