JazzGa 14,623 Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 i was on stage with her at the bitter end. i told her she would be the biggest star in the world one day and she slapped me in the face and told me never to tell her that again because she's working really hard on creating this martyr persona that would come in handy later and she was determined to make this time in her life in retrospect be mythologised as her Struggle to The Top. i offered her a lucrative record deal and she turned it down because she said she wanted a lot more bad sh.t to happen to her before she got her big break because "then i have something bullsh.t about for the first decade of my career". when we were leaving she saw a trash can and she begged me to throw her in it and laugh at her because she found it hot. i obliged and she told me how much this was going to help her career and that's when it got too weird for me and i went home, never to hear from her again. I don't know if that's the truth or if you made it up because it sounds so crazy but believable!! It explains a lot about her songwriting and career choices tbh.
