It's just the overall assumption that "Gaga's music is flopping, so why would I bother playing it" when it comes to the radio. I guess what I'm saying is the assumption that she was flopping would have been completely impossible had we had the drive to really PUSH in the beginning for GUY. Everyone stopped pushing at the beginning of this era when Gaga started talking about Troy's money hungry ways and that she didn't care about money. I know she's not going to get butthurt about not charting well, but that doesnt mean we all should have stopped trying. It was like a "she's not going to care so why bother" mentality. No matter how many times you refresh a video or no matter how many worldwide trends you make guys, if the music cant make people interested then nothing can be done. We dont have power anymore. Back in the days the GP was here for Gaga and checked every video she released and every song. That is what made her THE pop star. When she decides if she wants success then her music should be speaking of itself, not us spamming every article and twitter. First SHE has to be hungry for success then WE. This fanbase is terrible, as far as organization and consistent support goes. The Disney girls, American Idols or X Factor contestants, and anyone with a fanbase of young girls is going to have a HIGHLY ORGANIZED, POSITIVE and SUPPORTIVE fanbase! They are also a lot happier, as they tend to enjoy the music and fun along the way! The diva pop girls have a large gay fanbase, who stan mostly for success first and foremost! Many of the fanbase members have their own self worth tied up in how well a pop star does or if she "slays". :roll: Therefore, if their special pop girl's song or album does badly, it is a direct insult to them. Because they are so young and immature, they turn it back on the artist and take it out on her. Instead of just walking away from a situation that they are frustrated with or no longer interested in, they can't let it go. MonsterRocket 55 Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I'm so tired of the fanbase blaming on the GP "cause "they're assuming Gaga floped and therefore they're not interested in their music anymore" An artist's career has peaks and downsides. Gaga had so much success already, now everyone knows her and has to do something different (reinvent herself like Madonna did) to be the number one again. IT'S NORMAL. Also, let's assume it, her work's being worse than TF, TFM and BTW's. However, who cares? She's still amazing and will come back with number one hits in the future.
