seana39223 1
The Edge of Glory My ex girlfriend had dumped me shortly before and I was ill at the time in and out of hospital; I remember hearing the song and nearly crying the lyrics just seemed to mean so much. holy scheisse 22,274
Marry the night is the one Gaga sound that has profoundly touched me the most. My love for it is so deep and it developed over time. When Born this way came out i always skipped it because it did not have that immediate catchy quality to it, and also i was annoyed that born this way wasnt the first track on the album because that just bothered my obsessive controlling personality and i wanted born this way to be the first track to born this way the album AGh but whatever. anyway, marry the night grew slowly on me. like after i was sick of listening to all my initial favs i started to give it a chance and listen more (much like fashion! on ARTPOP for me tbh). and when it was given a single treatment was when i really started to give it a lot of attention and i started to fall in love with the sound of it as well as the lyrical content. it was so inspiring. and then the music video came out. i cried when i first saw it literally i sobbed and it didnt happen until the end when theres that montage of those sporatic shots of gaga in the bathroom and leaving her house etc. and i cried when she falls down the stairs carrying her piano and her dad was trying to help her but she was like no. dont help. ugh. okay and then the single "flopped." and me being a gaga fan since just dance era took it as a huge shock as did all the other fans. for some reason it was just devastating to see my idol fall, and it had to be for a song that has more emotion and depth than any other in her discography. and then she broke her hip, disappeared, etc. the song just has a ****ing legacy to it. its so heartbreakingly beautiful. i love marry the night. the end. (im feeling really passionate right now sry i had to write this if you read this far wow ily)

pierodinero 6
Just Dance: I didn't listen to top 40 music when Gaga first came out, but I remember my brother (who used to play in a punk band) would pick me up from work and we would listen to it together on the radio. He would tell me he really liked that song, even though he wasn't into pop music at all. I liked it too, and it caused us to bond every time the song would play on the radio. GagaDragon 10
Lovegame because that was the song that made me become a fan of hers and it was also the song which cemented her place as one of the best. You could tell that it was the start of something special after it's success. So Happy I Could Die means the most to me though. Even if the lyrics aren't exactly meant to be interpreted the way i interpret them, i just love that song so much. It gives me a feeling like no other. I still remember that night when i was having another rough few days so i decided to get toasted off the planet. I went outside and lay down on the grass staring at the sky. SHICD came up and it felt like i was flying towards the stars, one of the best feelings i've ever had.

britneylopez99 0
Mary Jane Holland I'm not sure what but it's something about those chaotic, angry, raging beats that bring me back to this winter. The song is also relatable for me but not just lyrically, but the actual sound to the song itself, all of the anxiety and the synths and the pulsating nature of it that makes it feel like an anthem of my furious, chaotic life and personality. idk if that sounded really full of **** but i love it. the melody is so damn good other favs are Born This Way, Sexxx Dreams, So Happy I Could Die, Speechless, The Edge of Glory...
