Ambrosia 3,775
I kind of like the new song, it's a bit young for me but it's really catchy. It's really upbeat for a song that keeps repeating, we are never getting back together!! :teehee: Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
DMTT 160
i love the album cover, the album title, and the concept of the album--VERY cool. but this song...this song is absolutely atrocious. i'm honestly disgusted by how terrible it is, imo. like...i'm soooo let down and i will probably pretend it doesn't exist. taylor swift should not be matched with max martin--i hope more than anything this is the only song they did together. wow. it's catchy as hell, but the lyrics, the concept, the sound, everything else is just horrendous. fukc...this is NOT the right direction. she keeps getting further and further from country. this is absolutely teeeerrible :(

I love the song. It's a lot poppier than anything I was expecting, but still. It's got the Taylor Swift charm in it.Here is a country radio mix for the song. The original is better IMO but this is a very good remix. http://ohsoswiftly.tumblr.com/post/29371988431/never-ever-get-back-together-country-radio-mix

(i wish there'd be five bonus tracks, because then i would have a total of 150 different taylor swift songs on my ipod--i don't want an odd/weird number like 147 or 149 :creep: )

LOL. And yeah I would judge the whole album off a song like this. This song is perfect because it's a surefire summer pop hit. I really hope the album is like this: 10% pop 25% Total Country 20% Ballads 20% Alternative Songs like Long Live, or Dear John 25% Darker rock songs Which would mean We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and maybe one other song (Possibly a collaboration) to be the pop songs. Then the rest of it can just blow everyone away with the maturity. People are b---hing that she is going backwards. I just laugh cause it's like, Oh, When you were 22, you were perfectly mature and never had a fun immature side?
SIRE 75
Am I the only one who thinks Fearless is better than Speak Now?
JeffSwift 314
What's the concept of the album?? "When I was coming up with the name for this album, it was crazy because it was really simple. I wrote a song called Red, and thinking about what that means to me and all the different emotions that are written about on this album. They are all about the tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that i've experienced in the past 2 years All those emotions spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that. In my mind, all of those emotions are red. Theres nothing in between. Theres nothing beige about those feelings. So I called the record Red" Am I the only one who thinks Fearless is better than Speak Now? I don't have a favorite album, they all change. Fearless is amazing. Speak Now is amazing and "Taylor Swift" is amazing.

Breathe 2
This song is so amazing omfg what is this I don't even my body isn't ready for this. agfdasfgakk I admit the song would be better without the spoken word though. But it's still listenable so fukc that. I think the next album, will be much more mainstream and stuff.. it'll be catchy and stuff. Taylor's going to be anything but going down. itmightberyan 21
Also..I do like the album cover quite a bit. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but with her lips being red and the title being Red...It feels as if the photo is a play on the title in the sense that the story of the album will be sung through her red lips.. Something along those lines. I like it. :)
