MattyMonster 3 Posted March 15, 2012 Author Share Posted March 15, 2012 the thing is, the verses are so incredible (in my opinion), that even though the chorus is great, i still feel let down. i was expecting this MASSIVE, incredible chorus based off of just hearing the verses. and then, depsite the fact that it's still a great chorus and in any other song i WOULD've been blown away, i was just like, "oh, that was it?" regardless, it IS a neat chorus. the bridge is amazing as well. overall, great song--i just got my hopes up too high (same thing happened with 'better than revenge' when the snippets leaked. the verse was so great that the chorus was just a letdown....but i eventually grew to LOVE it. hoping the same will happen with this ) Exactly! It need a bigger chorus. I love the verses and I think the lyrics are incredible, but there just seems to be something missing. I just love new Taylor Music. Totally. I don´t mind them, but new songs would be much better. Also, If This Were a Movie really grew on me these past few months. Not that I didn´t like it, but it was always my least favorite of the all three.
