MattyMonster 3
glad to hear that. love "chase the wind" as a title (it was rumoured). also, she said she wrote a song called "if kisses were wishes." ummmmmmmm there'll probs be a song about jake on there. i hope it's not trashing him or a sad one about missing him...i just want it to be a "we tried, it failed, but it's all good" song. also, i want a song about her friend that died. it could potentially be her most beautiful, heart-wrenching song yet. i'd like some bitterness, some heartbreak, some anger, some sadness, and even some sarcasm on this record. it has so much potential and i don't want her to make it silly. i want it to be country, acoustic (piano and guitar), folksy, angry. maybe something like "my decemer" or "jagged little pill." ok, i'm expecting too much. but omfg, her twist on something like those two  anyway. EDIT: oh, and if there is a song about her "supposed" nude pic leak, my life will be complete lmao EDIT: also, i'd like to see, again, her write the entire record herself. though, i'm pretty sure that won't be the case. oh well. EDIT: ok, ****ing last one but more in continuation of the previous, i hope to see her producing at least a couple of the songs on the record. like avril did on goodbye lullaby. even co-producing is fine. She wrote Speak Now all by herself Like with no co-writers. And she also credited as co-producer of Speak Now. Not sure how extensive was her work in that though If anything, I just love that she composes probably all her songs just with her guitar :)
MattyMonster 3
Taylor is in London. No one knows why. It´s pissing me off EDIT: “She really just loves my mother which is so sweet, I’m a huge fan of hers, I have young girls and we had been to a few of her concerts. I met with her at one of them and she had read a ton of books about our family. She was inspired and wrote a song.† Rory Kennedy There might be an Ethel Kennedy/Kennedy song on the album  Edited January 23, 2012 by MattyMonster

Well, Taylor is a huge fan of the Kennedy clan (you know who are Kennedy´s, right? ) and she also met with Ethel Kennedy who was a wife of Robert Kennedy, who was John F. Kennedy´s brother....basically, she wrote a song about a president´s clan and I have a feeling it will be ****ing epic!:excited2:
MattyMonster 3
Also, Taylor was in London to visit theater producer Cameron Mackintosh because of Les Misérables She´s a hardworker. I´m sure she will do anything to nail the role and will blow everyone´s mind :nacho: Her arrival: She looked adorable :flutter:

MattyMonster 3
why? what would it be about? lol, maybe i'm just missing something Well, she already wrote it, so it´s hopefully good. She´s a good friend of Ethel Kennedy who´s husband was killed, so she could write some tragic love story about that :flutter:

DMTT 160
And I agree. I hate self-titled albums :P this is how my itunes is organized for taylor. i like neatness. i have "who i've always been" deemed as the unreleased songs album; then "a place in the world" as her debut album (including "crazier," "beautiful eyes," "i heart ?," "christmases when you were mine," and "must be something more"); then "fearless" (including the five new songs from the platinum edition as well "today was a fairy tale," since it was written for fearless); then "speak now" (including "safe and sound", since it was released during the SN era). i know there are individual releases for all those extra songs, but i like my ipod being as limited and narrow as possible--so i only have four albums for taylor. and 128 songs eight hours of taylor swift music is how i roll :legend:

But I have the first album named Taylor Swift, but it does have all the other songs from that era. Same with Fealess and Today Was a Fairytale (+ Crazier and Two Is Better Than One) and Speak Now with Safe and Sound and Half Of My Heart

MattyMonster 3
Interesting article: More news has surfaced recently giving us more clues into Taylor Swift’s mysterious fourth album. The first bit is about the release. As stated in a previous article, Taylor Talk co-host, Belle, covered an event for us in which Scott Borchetta appeared at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville to discuss Taylor, his own career, and Big Machine Records. He revealed the release date of Taylor’s next album will be sometime in October of this year. The next bit is far more intriguing. The talk about Taylor’s appearance for the “Ethel†premiere at the Sundance Film Festival has spread around the Swifty community, as have the pictures featuring her with members of the Kennedy Family. [See them in our gallery] What hasn’t spread quite as quickly is what was disclosed in an interview with Rory Kennedy conducted by ABC’s Peter Travers. During “Popcorn with Peter Travers,†Kennedy revealed that Taylor had in fact written a song about the Kennedy family!!! (Source: ABC News) This leads me to believe that maybe, just MAYBE, my previous a--lyses were wrong. In past editorials, I’ve speculated as to whether or not Taylor was writing about a recent heartbreak. Discussing the tracks on her new album, Taylor stated, “They’re sad, if I’m being honest.†However, she also discussed in several interviews, including a hilarious interview with Ellen, that she is not in a relationship, nor is she seeking one. The odds of a secret relationship are slim. Taylor could never hide something like that from the public’s eye, which makes her most recent relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. So WHAT are these sad songs about?? Let’s review some of the facts: 1) The songs are sad. 2) They are very different from her previous work. My new guess is… drumroll please… that Taylor’s next album will include songs with historical themes. It all fits. We know Taylor’s music is very personal to her, and an interview with Rolling Stone from August 2011, she shows us her passion for history:“I just read a 900-page book called The Kennedy Women, which dates back to the lineage of the first Kennedys coming from Ireland in the 1800s,†Swift says in the new issue of Rolling Stone, on sale tomorrow. “This morning I bought books about John Adams, Lincoln’s Cabinet, the Founding Fathers and Ellis Island.â€â€œDuring downtime from her tour she even attempted to visit the New York Historical Society. ‘But it was closed,’ she says. ‘I almost cried.’ Instead, she went to the Museum of Natural History. ‘We saw the dinosaurs and stuff,’ she says. ‘Which was a close second.’â€â€œShe’s also become very interested in music from the past. ‘I’ve been obsessed with Fifties and Sixties music, like the Shirelles and the Beach Boys,’ she says. ‘Like ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’ – if I ever had a wedding, I’d walk down the aisle to that song.’†The Kennedy family has been victim of notoriously bad luck filled with the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, as well as his brother, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, a d--g overdose by David Kennedy and the fatal skiing accident of Michael Kennedy, among other tragedies. Perhaps when Taylor says “They’re sad, if I’m being honest,†she is referring to a topic her music has never touched on before: death. Now on a cheerier note, let’s address the musical styles. We know the songs will be different; different in theme, but perhaps also different in musical styles. Referring again to the Rolling Stone article, Taylor has become a big fan of 50′s and 60′s music including the Shirelles and Beach Boys. Being a big fan of the Beach Boys myself, I am hoping to see some style similar to theirs. Anyone familiar with Paul McCartney’s work after The Beatles will be able to see how heavily “Dear John†sampled from McCartney’s “Band on the Run.†She’s sampled from past artists before, so why not do it again? Let’s just say, if Taylor’s next album is of a historical theme, she’ll be doing Grant proud!!! Edited January 24, 2012 by MattyMonster
