I find it interesting to listen to anyone's thoughts and opinions about the project. Whether they think it's the best thing in the world or not isn't important. The only important thing, is that people are talking about the project.

he talks about it like its some kind of run of the electronic group

and i know that everyonese perception of sound and music is different but on certain things he is wayyyy off :oops:

Yeah I was shocked by Anthony's response to BLUE as well. I mean he didn't hate it, but idk. Like does anyone else find kin similar? I really don't. Whole new vibe and everything for me. I just don't get it. And I was also shocked he didn't mention "shadowshow" like COME ON

Favorite to least favorite:

 

1. Thin - perfection

2. Blue Blue - pop song of the year

3. Vista - love the mood on this one

4. Tap Your Glass - as a long time iamamiwhoami fan, I have a great appreciation for this song. It's a fun chapter to the album and the outro is amazing.

5. Hunting for Pearls - Great buildup, the 2nd verse is weak, great outro

6. Fountain - Very enjoyable, but after having the song since January I'm not very interested in it.

7. Ripple - Cool concept, reminded me of In Due Order. I really like this but it's not something I would listen to every day.

8. Chasing Kites - A song I felt like I had heard before. Not terribly unique, but cute and enjoyable still.

9. The Last Dancer - Bittersweet. It's a beautiful song, but it doesn't feel like it exists for much except closing the album. 

10. Shadowshow - The new bridge disappointed me, I felt that the production could have been better. I was already familiar with the song from In Concert and I was hoping for more from the Blue version.

it's almost the other way around for me

 

 

1. Ripple- oh my gosh literal rave mermaid orgasm for my ears

2. Thin- i literally get lost in this song its a labyrinth of sound

3. Shadowshow- wow just wow oh my gosh i cannot handle this jhkkgsa the little submelodies ghKAHbjgb

4. Chasing Kites- THAT CHORUS OH MY GOSH

5. The Last Dancer- effervescent, sparkling, steeped in twinkling melody

6. Hunting for Pearls- the song that got me into iamamiwhoami

7. Vista- i dont get why this song gets so much hate, it's amazing, the arppegiating synth riff>

8. Blue, Blue- Flawless, but i listened to this so many times it just doesn't have the same zing 

9. Tap Your Glass- again, love it, but idk... it feels kinda week, a little thin ( )

10. Fountain - i listened to this song so many ****ing time oh my gosh

Ordered my CD last night, I was shocked to find you could still buy them

 

I'm going on a hunt for normal sized completely clear jewel CD cases to put the CD in to keep up with the whole translucent look. I'm hoping it'll look hot  :whip:

Why doesn't anyone stan for Tap Your Glass like I do?   

 

I hated it at first listen, but then it caught me, hard.

 

I'll always have a place in my heart for that song.

This...people have their opinions and I respect that, but his album review is probably the worst I've seen. I think this stems from some fans liking more of her SUPER experimental stuff, but she's obviously moving on from that. That's BASICALLY what BLUE is about...some fans NOT wanting iamamiwhoami to move forward and wanting them to stay where they were.

 

Why do you think she was BURNING the black box in Fountain?

 

Why do you think she showed images of a fish "trapped" in a box in Fountain?

 

Some fans need to evolve with her and allow space for her to expand her creativity...

But...the booklet isn't "normal size"...it's actually quite large...look at the size of the book compared to the CD
