That's why the most successful album of all time, Thriller, has only 9 songs. Â It's not a matter of opinion though. Â Based on facts, it is an album. It is over 25 minutes in length, and is not a maxi-single or remix single and therefore it is an album, as that is what is officially classified as an album. Â The only reason why it could be classed as an EP is because it was released alongside The Fame in most territories, but it's very similar to what Jay-Z did with The Blueprint.
