Starfucker 1 Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Why all the fame hate. yes there was a lot of filler songs but the good songs are still amongst her best, I miss tongue in cheek fun gaga, her sound and attitude back then was what put her on the map, not the preachy messages or her trying to prove desperately that she is an artist. She shouldn't work with DJWS, that's the reason why all the **** happened. However, time has moved on, and mainstream music is more chilled and mellow now, which is why songs like Happy, Roar and Royals are so popular. Gaga still makes catchy dance pop and it's great that she's not conforming to whatever is popular right now, but her sales and reputation are suffering as a result. The only thing Gaga needs to do for her next album is create something that could potentially influence the music scene again. She's an innovator and a genius, and I feel that ARTPOP, as fun as it is, is a step down for her, like she's pandering to her fans. She is capable of doing something really great, but I don't think reiterating The Fame would be the best step forward. FameGa doesn't promise success though. FameGa was In in 2009. What Gaga had to do and she always does to some extend in my opinion is to make the rules again. To be a step forward from others. This. Basically she just needs to reclaim her throne by doing what she does best: making innovative, boundary-pushing music. I think this experience with ARTPOP has been a rude awakening for her. She's realised she's not invincible and she needs to keep pushing boundaries. I think/hope this will push her to create the best work of her life. I truly believe the best is yet to come. I doubt we'll ever see the FameGa again and that's sad because I liked her personality and music much more in the beginning of her career when she didn't want to impress people and she was herself ...
