We should respect eachothers opinion, and if you don't want to read negative posts you can skip this thread just as easily as the OP can 'go be a KatyCat'. Back on topic: we can't control Gaga's carreer and we shouldn't try to. I don't enjoy ARTPOP as much as other albums, but I still love Gaga as a person and artist. So I focus on the stuff I do like, revisit some older material and just fantasize about what the future might hold for this fanbase. There's no use in focussing on the stuff you don't like, because both Gaga as well as other artists have a lot of amazing stuff for you to enjoy. The OP is constantly slamming the era and ARTPOP and I'm meant to respect that? Fuck no. Not with me sorry. I constantly skip negativity but if it becomes a constant thing then I will speak up. I'm all up for promoting online kindness but how kind is it to insult another persons work? Yeah thought so. I don't want an ARTPOP ll - Gaga's aim with this album was to bring Art into Pop and she's lived to see it considering Beyoncé, Lorde and Lana all consider their videos and music to be 'art'. So we can all move on in peace into the next era because ART and POP does belong together now! 2015 will be good I can feel it! Art and pop have always belonged together for Gaga though - "ARTPOP" is kind of what she has always done. She never said it was an entirely new concept for her or anyone else... Excluding others by saying stuff like "bye b---h " isn't exactly promoting online kindness. Everyone on this forum is here for the same thing: because we love Gaga. Because "ARTPOP Act II" as an album name just does not say anything. It's flat. I would recommend she choose a title of one of the songs - perhaps call the album - Temple. I hear you but if we all love Gaga then what's the point of the constant shade. The way I said, I agree, might have been rude but I wasn't starting a fight but if someone is gonna take a swing at Gaga I'm not gonna stand for it. I would like it if we all spread positivity but some people just can't and sometime you just can't let a problem go away or fade or what ever.
