#ChartReport: The Ultimate Guide to Charts and Sales

Featured Posts

Hello, everyone! I've been tracking music record sales and record popularity chart positions even before I've joined GagaDaily (GGD) in 2012. It has just become one of my passions wherein it's never been tiring or boring for me to do and continue despite all the things I else do outside the virtual space.

For the regular readers of the Charts and Sales section, you've probably known me with these various lists, err charts, of the best-selling digital songs and albums of the year, the decade, of all time, by the year of release, by the decade of release; the most viewed music videos on VEVO within the first 24 hours, of all time; the most played songs on radio; the most #1 singles and albums on the Billboard charts, and the list goes on and on, which I post in the General Charts Discussion thread or elsewhere in this section of the forum. And now I've decided to start my own 'blog' of some sort here on GGD wherein all the chart and sales records and milestones I've compiled in years will be shared to all of you.

And to make it easier for everyone to access these information without the need of jumping from one page to another, this thread is and will remain locked. But don't worry! If you have any request, question, or concern, feel free to send me a private message with the subject titled "ChartReport Request" and I'll try my best to address whatever you want to be addressed, as long as they're chart and sales-related, here in this thread as soon as possible and you'll be notified via a tag mention. Or you could also just leave a comment in my profile page here on GGD. And if you want to read the information I'll be posting as soon as possible, feel free to follow this thread. It would be much appreciated.

Without further ado, welcome to the #ChartReport! And as a kick-off, here's the list of the best-selling albums in the United States since Nielsen Music began tracking over-the-counter sales in 1991, ranked according to their last Nielsen Music-reported sales:
