Admin 24,441 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Wrote a backing track called "Revenge" a few years ago, used to play it in my sets with a Jay-Z acapella but it never felt like a Madeon song. My publisher sent it to someone who wrote something to it I didn't really like (which was later leaked unfortunately). When Gaga asked me to open for her, I thought "maybe I should show her some music and we could do something" so I sent that track. She loved it and wrote the song right away. When we were in the studio later we worked on it further together, she composed that new bridge, recorded some guitars etc. That was cool. I love this song.
