There's quite a bit of repetitive pop-formula in the album which could get tiring, but is not as bad as in other pop albums that just get you tired because of the lack of dynamism. I wish it wasn't as formulaic and that he could let go a bit more instrumentally, but I guess he's still playing the label game. But for all intents, it's a charming album.
