The chart-topping, Grammy-nominated album is officially gold in the US. Issued on December 14, the award confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams. A success as an overall album (it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200), “Rainbow” has also spawned a hit single in “Praying.” The poignant ballad has thus far attained platinum status in the United States. “Rainbow” is up for Best Pop Vocal Album at this year’s Grammys.
