I keep hoping it'll peak just outside the top 10. Pretty shameful that the UK of all places made an awful Taylor Swift song a mild hit. Its peaked higher than in any other country, even the US. It'll be her third top ten single this era. Please don't let this be a sign that we're taking her to our hearts. I couldn't stand hardcore Swift promotion over here all the time. At least during her Fearless era, us Brits could avoid her because she was a strictly American/Canadian phenomenon. The thought of more X Factor performances, promotion on all the UK chat shows and sold out UK tours in the future is just too much to contemplate. The UK like will.i.am he's on the voice every week at the moment and plus all the other songs have been successful from the album T.H.E. got to 3, This is love 1 and Scream and Shout 1 too. That counter protest song certainly epically failed. I thought That Power was only released in the US and Canada. Has it been released here or was it just that popular? Looks like Gentleman could be anothe big hit for PSY. Guess Gangnam Style was that much of a hit that its success was transferable. Doubt he'll maintain it for a third release, though.
