Sonja's battle is over now, and I know that wherever she is, for a soul as beautiful as hers, it's a place of joy and rest. I hope her family and friends, including Stef, are hanging in there and supporting each other. And I hope they can feel the immense love that we have for them and had for Sonja. For someone I never met, I felt her struggle through the music Gaga wrote for her, and having watched family members and friends struggle with cancer, I know how much pain there can be, but also how much potential there is for courage and perseverance, and Sonja was consistently a beacon of light even when this disease was trying to snuff her out. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of millions. All the Pinot, Pinot Grigio Girls, Gather round now, Watch your blues turn gold. I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.
