Toxic is a timeless song that is still played on the radio today and it doesn't sound old. It was a dance track released in the middle of a Hip/Hop and R&B wave. Had it been released in the late 00's, it would've be even more massive. This song defines Britney at the peak of her legendary career. Toxic revived Britney's "singles" career after the mess that was Britney and the mediocre performance of lead hit "Me Against the Music". Toxic solidified Britney's place in pop history.
