Yesterday morning, Lady Gaga announced that in September she will perform with her new tour at the Rock In Rio festival. Rapidly, the news spread and became the most talked about thing of the day along with her presentation at the Super Bowl.

A day later, the column of Lauro Jardim, of the newspaper O Globo, announced that the announcement had broken a record in the history of the festival. For the first time since the creation of Rock In Rio, an announcement reached 85 million people in the networks within 24 hours taking into account the 102 vehicles that published the information.

Lady Gaga's performance at Rock In Rio will take place on September 15th. Tickets start being sold on April 6.

Brazil stans so hard for Gaga. No wonder, that place is full of gheys (and yet it's an amazingly homophobic country :( )

I don't think that's necessarily it lol. One thing I've noticed when I went to Brazil, or among Brazilians in general, is that no one gives a **** what music you listen to, contrary to everywhere else: people raise an eyebrow to straights listening to pop girls, besides Taylor Swift (because for some reason that's more manly).
