Exactly. A lot of people have said that she doesn't love us anymore but it's not true. She loves us more than we'll ever understand but she's realized that she can't be there for us if she doesn't take care of herself. She's still the person who loves us beyond reason. The person who will always be there for us no questions asked. The person who proudly got "mother monster" and a "monster paw" permanently inked on her skin. The person who will always be there to catch us when we're falling. To paraphrase her for a second "what you and I have little monsters has no end. It's eternal. No matter what I'll always be there to catch you when you fall".
