Congratulations to Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett who just earned an Emmy nomination for their critically praised Cheek to Cheek: LIVE! special which aired on PBS last year. The concert is up for an Emmy in the "Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special" category, where Gaga was nominated for the first time back in 2011 for her Monster Ball tour special.
Gaga, who is currently in Spain for a sold-out show at Cap Roig Festival, took to her Twitter account shortly after the announcement. "Such a crazy day," she told fans. "Tony Bennett and I are nominated for an Emmy for our PBS Cheek To Cheek LIVE special!"
The 67th Emmy Awards will take place on September 20th in Los Angeles.
