on a popuar pirated music sharing website. THE MOST POPULAR POST IS ARTPOP. LIKE FOREVER. Even BEYONCE got out, PRISM got out. BUT ARTPOP has been #1 since. :smh: People buy it. gosh.

This. I lot more people have ARTPOP on their iPod's and iPhone's than the sales project. However, I think the fact that more people pirate ARTPOP than pay $6.99 for it on Amazon is because they don't want the stigma of having "bought" the album....

Hey Perez does it really matter if it doesn't reach Number 1?

Charts don't really matter that's what Gaga and her fans generally say.

If they do matter Katy has had an amazing era and has had huge hits her lowest charting track from PRISM is currently Birthday at 37 but is rising!!!!

So even with a bad video compared to GUY [which I personally dont think is great - but it had a huge budget] 't has already charted 40 spots higher. Goes to show the quality of a video doesn't really matter it's the quality of the track overall.

Do you agree Perez?

I think you're missing the point on the "charts are not the most important thing" commentary. Music should be appreciated by it's artistic integrity, which means the musician's involvement as an artist in the making of the songs: lyrics, melodies, themes, sounds, etc (a matter of fact, can't be denied), then evaluate if you like the result of that process or not (a matter of taste, subjective). And finally, as a side note, watch how good or bad the song did on charts and sales, just to see how popular the song is. Your taste shouldn't be defined by popularity. We are individuals, and we should project ourselves just like that in my opinion.

Could we maybe expect ARTPOP to re-enter TOP 200 on iTunes when the tour kicks off in US?

That MJ song is doing so bad on iTunes though. I thought the fact that it's a new MJ song + hype + radio deal + iTunes banners + JT feature would help it sell

Judas didn't need radio that much because it had that much controversy around it that it was getting a lot of streaming and buzz, it was a streaming single, not a radio one.  They should have just given the song it's time, at least one more month. That way they would have had and more time to make a better TEOG video, after what happened. You and I was also a bad single choice. Actually BTW Era didn't have less mistakes than ARTPOP Era, actually it might even had more. It was just that Gaga was that massive back then that the Era survived, unlike this one that needed desperately a good handling (which it didn't obviously have).

That would've been horrible for the album sales and momentum Gaga had. She had so much momentum with TFM and BTW (single), that she HAD to have a single smashing and making people interested to sustain it. She did by releasing something as soon as Judas was showing signs that it wasn't going to do well.

And anyways, Judas wouldn't have sold much more. Radio was giving it negative updates after a week. Its streaming is mostly big because it was a hit in a few big streaming countries (like Brazil?) and because it is a good video with known actors in it.

Gaga wouldn't have a problem, the buzz around her was huge and she had a single in the top 20, and 2 promotional singles, the album would be fine. Judas had a lot of buzz around it and it didn't give the feeling of a flop, it always reeled like a successful single.
