Then there are videos that can MAKE a song a smash, but these are 2 different things. A video can't break a song unless It's something really, really bad.. true... It's positive effect either way.. For example see the Britney's career in the last years, she have hits only promoting a song with the music video, forget the last era, but see also the big success of 'Scream and Shout', it has only the music video... I am sure that a video can even sell ALBUM not only song. And the song would've been so much bigger than Applause in Europe where It's already catching up to It without a video .. So true! I hope that we will get it soon. DWUW and the album need it desperately and they should work day and night to have it ready as sson as possible. When the video gets released then the promotion of DWUW era will be finally over and the song wil fight on it's own full force. Not it's like the song is kept alive with mechanical support. The only hope we have right now for DWUW is for the video to be really great, IF there's a video. Well, the video exists, that is confirmed. the problem is when will it be released? Obviously they aren't working on the same video since then, or they aren't working all that time at all. What kind of music video would take 3 months to be made...
