Mills 446
Wait JD hit #1 in US in Jan 2009 so 70% oh her #1 happens in the same year .... But I thought JD was released somewhen in the spring of 2008 It was a slow climb to the top. Contrary to popular beliefs, Gaga's rise wasn't an instant phenomenon. It took months of wooing the radio stations to play her songs. And when she finally broke that glass ceiling, everyone literally went wild about her starting 2009 - the year when Mainstream Top40 radio gave her four consecutive #1s. Those good old times! Mills 446
How come Lea Michelle's Louder is way above the Rihanna/Shakira collaboration? This is the very first time I've even heard that she has a new song out, which is the complete opposite with regards to CRTFY.

Mills 446
she has a really strong fanbase (and whoever has preordered her album so far gets the track automatically) however she'll drop quickly  rih/shaki kinda came outta nowhere and the song is a little underwhelming. So that explains it then. It came off as a stunner at first to me when I saw her at #3. But then again, even a single of Childish Gambino zoomed to top three during its release, despite the relatively underwhelming music career. And speaking of underwhelming, CRTFY does sound one. Sadly, I was hoping for this to become Rihanna's 14th #1. I guess I've to wait for her own lead single this year.
