Smithy 2,290
26 Katy Perry - Unconditionally 0.1644 I'm thinking she will perform this on XF Finale and it will go top ten. It's just not budging otherwise. She's only just been playlisted by radio one, i think that's why it's not doing so well I was in HMV today and there was this woman looking at the CD's and she was talking to her mum (i'm assuming she was like 60) and she said her daughter wanted a few albums and she picked up ARTPOP and i told her it was a really good album, so she bought it, then as we were wandering around the store I saw someone else pick up a copy and buy it, get dem sales gagz

StrawberryBlond 14,343
Tbh I was worried she would just do Gypsy as album promo or something if they thought that three UK TV performances of one song is too much. That's quite a lot of promo spots for just one single, there's basically only Jonathan Ross and The BRITs left lmao. And maybe Britain's Got Talent in Spring too. It's not too much. Robbie Williams performed Go Gentle on X Factor, Jonathan Ross and Children In Need Rocks. The beauty of all this is, it was all grouped close together just after the single had been released, meaning it had the chance of a really good peak from a rush of sales all at once. Gaga's problem is that she tends to leave UK promo until quite late in the day, so by the time she does it, it doesn't have much impact. Interscope should realise that she lost a lot of UK support with BTW and that she needs timely UK promo if she wants to sell now. With America becoming more and more fond of her again, she really doesn't need lots of promo there anymore and should focus on her worldwide audience seeing as they tend to make her more money and are the safety net when it comes to touring. But yes, I would like her to retain some other promo spots for future singles and it's not wise to use them up all at once on one single. Ultimately, the first three singles are the most important, so they're the ones that she needs all the promo for.
