I listened to an ED specialist talking about Ari’s appearance recently and she mentioned how she appeared to be at the point where her body was literally using protein from muscle tissue in order to sustain itself and part of what lead to Karen Carpenter’s death was heart failure due to wasting of muscles in her heart caused by that same process. FWIW, Carpenter’s physique also looked a lot like where Ari is rn. She really needs help. I, myself, end up talking about it and I don’t like that. People did the same thing to Amy which was most likely in a much worse state and as far as I know, it didn’t particularily help anyone.
