I don't mean to be too harsh on Katy, but why is it some people will try to get a meme out of this. When a woman is involved in some disturbing **** some will act like it's a pop culture moment. Why so?

Oh this is an important topic. A lot of people view LGBTQ+ people as "wanting it" if they get assaulted by someone of the same s3x. It's such a disgusting victim blamey narrative.

I'm just waiting it out to see how this unfolds. It's so bizarre and unexpected that a part of you thinks it can't be true. It certainly gives credence to what that guy from the Teenage Dream music video said about Katy exposing him in front of people years ago. And lines up with Katy kissing that guy on the lips on American Idol after claiming it was just going to be on the cheek. It seems Katy likes dressing up bad behaviour as harmless fun and possibly even something she does for public approval. I do vaguely remember Ruby having run-ins with other people before, so I hope she's telling the truth. If she claims to have photo evidence but then can't supply it, well, that won't work out well for her.

That's f.ucked up. It's sick how normalised that kind of behaviour is. I feel like growing up that mindset was portrayed so much in movies and media and just as a casual joke. Like 'men want it 24/7 anyway so touching them is like doing them a favour'. I'm sorry that happened to you that's gross
