If she was releasing anything soon, yesterday would have been the time to announce it but she didn't so I think she is taking a break for at least 4 months. She keeps teasing Reputation like with the mashup last night, but it is probably not coming soon.

I'd bet a New Year's Day announcement for Rep tbh and then a March release.

But I'm fully expecting Debut to come before Reputation purely because its likely to sell less so she won't want to end on a "low" and her rerecordings have followed a country/pop pattern (Fearless into Red, Speak Now into 1989). So Debut coming first and finishing on Rep seems smart plus the Rep hype is going to push that one's numbers beyond 1989 imo and she definitely wants to end the rerecordings on a bang.

Honoured to have helped contribute to that figure! Was there, N1 in Vancouver. An incredible show, an incredible final weekend!

I have not seen an energy / vibe in the city like that since the 2010 olympics.

this too without dynamic pricing. With dynamic pricing,it could have been 2x 3x or even more.

I have a lot of respect for her because ticket prices were definitely too cheap for her standard. People say she exploits her fan but I am not sure if that's entirely true.

I should be more excited but I hate billionaires, full stop, with zero exceptions including her :icant:

Now if she pulled an MJ and donated every cent of the profits from this tour to a good cause like he did, I'll stan.

But if it goes in her pocket, she can stand between Musk and Bezos :anveeroy:

I think this is more about the constant "variants" aka releasing the same album/songs over and over again knowing it'll net a profit 'cause obsessed fans will buy it.

The ticket pricing thing is a problem with the entire industry. I'm gonna struggle to justify seeing Gaga on the LG7 Ball if the tickets are even close to how much I've paid for the CBT or the Miami show in 2020 :rip:

as the master Azealia Banks said, McDonalds sells billions every single day. Yet, it's not the pinnacle of cuisine.

Yeah the variants thing is gross, especially the state it got to in the TTPD era.
That said, while I do think her label etc are very interested in the profits - I feel like Taylor's sole motivation isn't the profit but rather the chart success. She's craved it like an addict ever since that Kanye moment in 2009.
