Gaga shares preview for Babylon live from TCB

Idk if it’s been said by someone else in the 11 pages, but my initial thoughts looking at this clip and the “trailer”, it’s that it’s another one of the “contractual”  gigs she did recently, that are legacy contracts from 2019-2020 Chromatica. The Dom Perignon dance ad, Cotton On, Fortnite Festival, and now this, they don’t feel like passion projects. A few tweets, instagram stories and posts, and on to the next one. I miss seeing her process, her proximity, à la Gagavision. Now she just throws fries at us hoping we shut up for a bit.

Just because she's not constantly discussing music 24/7 with fans doesn't mean she's not passionate about art anymore. 

She took on a main role in creating The Chromatica Ball film edit for us, because she knows how much that show meant to fans. 

We also know she's working on a lot of music at the moment too.

Sorry but this is stupid, she's only keeping things more private and she's living with a chronic disease that causes her to mentally break down, also she's established her name as a legend long ago and it's normal to take some breaks in between all the amount of work she's constantly doing. Pairing her art with partnerships (like she always did) does not equal to a passion loss, since she's Lady Gaga and will always be a fierce and relentless musician at heart.

letting the delusion slip in for a sec, would be sick if she released it as a final single with the tour interlude/backdrop as a music video/visualizer to completely wrap up the era.

She used Babylon as a reference back in 2022 when she started the tour so don’t expect anything. It feels like the song is very important to her, just that.

everyone’s like “The Eras Tour, The Eras Tour!!” and they proceed to ignore the 62836 times her hair changes and continuity is thrown out the window. And mind you, they recorded like 5 dates for the Eras Tour. There being continuity errors throughout the show is purely because they did not care to fix them, there was enough footage

I also think she’s well aware of how it’s received by critics and fans AND was a tour highlight. It’s a perfect clip to generate hype with A) a new song (not a legacy Gaga song) B) not a finale single like RoM and C) something people loved.

I feel like I did hear some pitch correction in the snippet of SL in the trailer, but we’ll see once we hear the final version

oh yeah this was SO a contractual obligation and so NOT a passion project that she directed, produced and created it herself..... like gurl be so for real, all these other popstar leaving all the ground and hardwork for projects like this to other people and you come and criticize Gaga for not having passion? And is funny that image in this thread given that babylon is a song directly inspired by ballroom culture in NY in a more insightful and intelligent way than ever seen before in the mainstream pop realm...

I hear it too! They absolutely pitch corrected her. But that's a good thing considering her vocals during SL, ROM and HMH pere pretty tired on all shows
