Chuckles 2,548
The reality is that it's the venues fault. I've been to smaller theater venues (this year) that they purposely don't turn the air condition/air vents, and people are sweating... even all the way to the back where there is room people were feeling the heat. People at the front/close to the stage suffered the worse of it, and the show was stopped 4 times because some fainted, vomited or were just asking for help. I doubt she'll ever come back to Brazil after this fiasco. Because of the heat? Or? The extreme heat is a pretty isolated incident.

That is also setting precedent how poor is the foreign event organizer & the stadium runners in dealing with this issues. Such as keep banning people bring water in so they can make some bucks from people buying beverages, when they already know from the forecast about the dangerous weather. Even TS herself were gasping for air, literally. She must have been grieving and traumatized by this. Never see or heard someone is dying at TSwift shows ever until yesterday. My question was to @Bat who said-“And this is why big artists like her don't usually tour SA. I doubt she'll ever come back to Brazil after this fiasco” Artists have some of their most celebrated and cherished shows in Brazil and South America. This was terrible circumstances and bad management on part of organizers.

It’s not safe for her or the fans https://x.com/atheon_apex/status/1726022128196104504?s=46&t=X2xVts2Dz3OuRMU_k9uq4A
AyeshaErotica 1,478
The temperature/whether is just not bearable for a mass event like this, so this is a right decision. But I think the concert(s) should have been cancelled because of respect to the tragic event. I'm looking gorgeous tonight

Exactly what @RAMROD already stated, events outside the US and Europe are handled in a very different approach where the number 1 priority is not about the people attending but about making as much money as possible and not caring about the PR implications this has if it goes wrong. Unfortunately she also has to consider 100+ thousand other people, their money, their accommodations, the obligations she agreed to, and weigh what would happen if she did cancel, especially since the mere postponement brought anger.
