Don't understand all the sad faces or anything.. Actually, Madonna got a lot of negative in reviews for the guns and violence in her tour. From the UK press the most actually. So why not Gaga be different after Sandy Hook? It was the smart move to do it not only because of the media but also because she is very direct about bringing action to her words. She basically said she is in favor of gun control, and now she's going to follow that up by doing something to demonstrate that stance. I agree that weapons can't be removed from popular culture, but you've already seen the reaction towards Madonna, and Gaga doesn't need that right now. I agree that she should use some sort of medieval weapon, like a sword, a spiky ball or whatever. It wouldn't look as cheap as a pipe, and it would keep the idea.
