When i went in California i thought people were actually pretty nice i didn't go into the rich upper butthole housewives streets but from all others places i was surprise and relax... Except Hollywood and on the highways ! Maybe i stayed where people were more lay back and friendly. But then again I'm from France, near Paris, so most of the world seems nice to my eyes haha 

For the fakeness i would say that its something pretty common in western countries  actually what surprised me the most from Americans are their relationships with money and with religion

Katy has never seemed to have a particularly warm personality, so her being horrible wouldn't be totally surprising. I wouldn't cosign calling her trash though without someone who actually worked for her giving details of her behavior.
