Adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s 1973 Swedish classic, and starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, Scenes from a Marriage re-examines the show’s iconic depiction of love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage, and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple.

Premieres September 12.

Wow, Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain costarring again! I love Oscar so I will be watching for him at least.

What's the first one that you were referring to? Dark Phoenix?

Edit: Wait Oscar wasn't in Dark Phoenix.

I'll watch anything HBO, Oscar Isaac or Ingmar Bergman related but there's something about Jessica Chastain that I just can't ****ing stand. :selena:

hahah, i watch this every once in a while for a good laugh. 

But I've watched a lot of stuff Jessica Chastain has done and I think she's really good in a lot of it. I just don't like her outside of her work, which is fine.

Since we're talking about a Jessica/Oscar reunion, A Most Violent Year is a great film.

I think people make marriage seem like ur forced to stay in it or something, i mean in every western movie about marriage it's depicted as this horrible nightmare where u argue and u hate each other after 10 years together. sure it can be a reality but it can also be so cynical
