Elton John banks £65 ($87.1) million on tour despite cancelled concerts due to Covid - making him highest earning live performer in the world.

The British superstar was forced to abandon his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in early March but still earned £14 million more than his closest rival, Celine Dion. 

Figures published on Friday by Pollstar magazine – the 'bible' of live concerts – showed many performers still made millions despite the Covid-19 crisis.

he was touring till March 2020, these numbers are from about November 2019 to November 2020. They don't count money received for concerts that did not take place, are postponed ...
