There are sides that hates the album and refuse to support it and a side that loves it, also there's the managers that are blaming/attacking everyone, everything and creating conspiracy theories as to why Katy's not popular anymore. No! Joanne debuted at #1 with 201k copies sold 1st week that too in 2016, when gaga was a streaming poison. Our fandom was far away from what katy clowns are now. Little Monsters never created conspiracy theories, although we love to throw Bobby under the bus every now and then! But gaga was doing far amazing number when certain fandoms were busy calling her a fad. Impersonation got me restricted!

It has cute bops and some lyrics got to me 😭 take it for what it is. A pop album. In my opinion it’s a solid album. It has potential. I just think her label didn’t really try to promote it as much. This kids are the worst, they're going crazy but that's what you get for years of bullying other fandoms What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you? You can pick any song from it and place it onto a previous Katy's album and it would sound like a filler. It's good for one listening to pick 2 or 3 songs to add to your playlist then the rest is really boring. What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you? She is a streaming monster and folklore debuted with non-us streams of close to 180m on Spotify (Which is actually more than Chromatica did first week worldwide with the US included). 1989 literally has 2 songs about to reach 3B on YT, she has insane recurrents and is the fourth most viewed artist in YT behind Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Katy (who she will surpass soon). It is just insane to try to argue she isn't global. Also nobody would look at Red, 1989, reputation and Lover certifications and say "local" so this seems a bit biased. Using percentages to undermine her global sales is a bit unfair considering she does indeed dominate the US market This are her Top 10 cities on YT in the last 12 months 1. Quezon City 2. Bangkok 3. Jakarta 4. Kuala Lumpur 5. Ho Chi Minh City 6. New York City 7. Mexico City 8. London 9. Cebu 10. Hanoi So no, she is not local. We aren't in 2011 anymore isn't folklore's success a bit weird tho? i love her but this album isn't melodrama
