Schools, companies that employ a lot of people and the like, even in cities that haven’t had a lot of infected people need to close now and not wait for the situation to get worse. Social distancing is the most effective and concrete thing that can be done to make a difference.

This. I don't understand how the UK still has open schools and universities at almost 800 known cases while Romania, an arguably third world country, closed them before the count was 50. The UK needs to get their **** together.

I understand that it can feel scary, but it’s the responsible and right thing to be doing. It is helping to combat the situation and preventing it from becoming worse.

guys, dont be so scared. things are closing down not because the virus is a super killer machine that wont leave anyone alive, but because infections need to be spread over a longer period of time so that the health system isnt collapsing. most people will get it, enough people already had it without even knowing. we just arent supposed to all get it at the same time. wash your hands regularly, dont touch your face and dont run around in big crowds, otherwise live normally

You will learn respect!

This. Although I don't like that it happened because it is disruptive, my school just closed for two weeks even though no one in it has the Corona Virus to be safe. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Don’t worry, everything that’s happening is to prevent the virus from spreading more. It seems scary but it’s nothing to be afraid of. Not the first pandemic in world history, not even the first one in the last 20 years. Just do what you’re told and be hygienic and that’s it.

Doubt that Romania is a 3rd world country as the EU member.

But we should follow Romania for example and take measurments of saftey and social distance.

Unlike Montenegro. The only corona free European country everythings good and everythings fine. People are just panicking. Nation is just delulu.

Its citizens needs to slam that governemnt down

Yes I agree. It just never seemed as serious to me personally because it was only the news that I was being affected by.
Now it feels a lot more personal, and I can see how stupid I was for treating it like a thing that couldn’t effect me before.

Yeah. It’s a good lesson in empathy and thinking about how a crisis is impacting communities that we are not being impacted by.
