Everyone is ignoring the fact that there could be a soft reboot to the era in the form of a re-release in 2021. Maybe as a visual album with some song outtakes. Seeing and hearing what the rumored plans were I find it both hard to believe they will totally give up on the artistic approach they wanted AND delay the entire album that long.

right! why not release it now and film the MV later? and do a little promo with them right before the tour

Everyone is focused on delays and potential filming of a movie in 2021 - but that is likely going to be delayed too potentially. There are going to be a LOT of delays across the board for entertainment now. A slow burn for the era rather than explosive start will probably be the best for keeping the era uncompromised in its vision. I think an album that gets its plans executed in a realistic way will be better than an album set on debuting at #1 after all.

I can't even imagine how long it will be before we can do concerts or sporting events again? Doctors on CNN are saying up into 2021. I'm also curious if meet and greets will be a thing of the past. I noticed before the virus hit, alot of artists were still offering VIP packages, but with no artist participation. It was weird, you could get a group picture standing on the stage, a gift bag, and a good seat. I can't imagine Gaga would want to get up close and personal with her fans, especially with her health involved. Hopefully she won't do meet and greets Avril Lavigne style with the 6 feet social distancing in the photos. LOL

I honestly don't believe it'll be delayed to 2021. Gaga has been extremely clear about 2020 (both in her postponement announcement AND when she posted the official cover). Honestly, we should take everything posted on ATRL by an "insider" with a grain of salt, unless the insider is one of the two or three who've proven themselves trustworthy. With that being said, nothing is set in stone until it's officially announced. Even if a trustworthy insider says "Chromatica will be released on X" things could always change. I'm super hopeful it's coming sooner rather than later though :sara:

Mr.S and Blade are VERY realible. The only one date given by Mr. S was 2/21 and 2/28, the first date was obviously postponed and he still was right about the single cover, the SL producers, the album release (Q2), and both insiders talked about the album and singles postponment.

I'm sorry, but that was too ridiculous to read. They have credibility and have proven it.

I hear you, but let’s tone it down with the insiders.... Like I said in some other thread, they can have reliable info at one particular moment in time, but things aren’t set in stone until Gaga announces them herself - the SL release is the perfect example of that.

So while insiders might give us an idea of what’s going on behind the scenes, we can’t possibly take their words for absolute truths because for all we know, things can always change and evolve. I’m not trying to discredit anyone, just giving you my point of view.

There were no meet and greets at all with TCB so this isn’t an issue for her. Maybe by the time people start touring again it’ll be more acceptable/approved by CDC standards but the whole concept of meet and greet seems so archaic to me anyways

Blade finally responded to ATRL and said he hasn’t asked since he first gave out the June release date. So I guess it’s still possible things shifted since then.

Yeah, she didn't have M&Gs listed for the Chromatica Ball anyway, so the real question is whether they'll return to Enigma.

Having done an Enigma M&G, I can say it wasn't worth it and was merely a glorified photo op. If it wouldn't have cost $2000 a person, maybe I'd have a different impression, but the whole thing was very rushed and impersonal, and I actually felt icky about Gaga being on display like a zoo animal with one guest after another herded next to her for 5 seconds.

The bigger question to me is whether she'll still invite fans onstage to sing to them (not sure at what point she would do that in TCB as we know nothing about the setlist). But maybe by the time it's safe for tours to happen again the virus won't be much of an issue anyway.

So far, the meet and greets I've had with her have been completely worth the experience.  She was in a good mood and it didn't seem like a rushed experience at all. I guess it depends on the day and her mood. I'd definitely do it again if given the chance. I don't really see anything archaic about it, but that's just my opinion.

Oof. I don’t think of all the songs she could release as a promo single it should be THIS one. Hell, I even condone Babylon being released before that song lmao.
