I really dont feel any ill will towards him anymore, I see why he stopped working in the music industry. He shifted his focus to doing humanitarian work. A lot of you should calm down when it comes to him taking a step back when gagas career took off. He did not have to live off her success and he chose to take his career in a different path.

Meh. I think people are too harsh on Akon and I (hope) Little Monsters stop being bitter in his mentions whenever he mentions Gaga on twitter (which is rare). It's good that people speak fondly of her, do you want them to never speak of her again or trash her? Plus, lbr what he did is nowhere near the level of Troy, the mess with the ex assistant during the ARTPOP era, or Boomkack.

Anyway, points:

1) He started speaking positively about her long before ASIB—this isn't just a coattail sort of situation. I'm not going to play little detective, but I remember him saying something nice about her in 2014 or 2015.

2) It was one comment about the business side, and it was cold as ice but it wasn't necessarily like "she's awful, I hate her" or anything like that. Also, he allegedly was going through personal and professional issues at that time—again, not going to play little detective, but I remember some music journalists talking about how Interscope was having issues with him.

3) LBR, Gaga probably was kind of a difficult during that time period, too.

4) He does a lot of charity.
