Idk if I'm the only one who noticed it but...

Put it straight to 2:26

And then listen to this at 0:10 BUT with speed x 0.50 (so slower)

Tbh the first time I heard Fake Smile it immediately reminded me this

as far as i know 95% of this album is made of samples or smthin like that. so.. :emma:

well maybe not 95% but it's true that I can hear some melodies/rhythms in TUN that remind me other songs. but that doesn't affect my love for the album anyway

didn't mean anything like that, i meant that she probably, if she sampled it, got the rights to do it so it's no problem anyways.

Im pretty sure that stuff is free domain and part of public use. the circus theme is a generic theme song (like twinkle twinkle little star) so it could be sample under the fair use

I thought everyone knew what the circus theme is? You didn't have to post that one. Or am I missing something?

Sadly. Ariana's fans also think My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music is an Ariana Original :fail:

I don’t really like Ariana that much and her fans are annoying af, but no they don’t lol. Literally everyone knows it’s a sample besides a few 12 year olds.

River

This theme, just like many melodies, songs, novels etc pre-1923 are open for the public domain, just like Alice In Wonderland for example, this is why so many can just do their own version of Alice without paying the copyrights, The Great Gatsby will lose it in 2021 and Mickey Mouse is supposed to go to the public domain in 2024 along with Batman.

Here is the list of all the songs that enters the public domain this year

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1923_in_music

This circus theme "Entry of the Gladiators" was composed in 1897

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

She's obviously paid any royalties for any samples she may have used/got permission from the artist/musician. This happens a lot nowadays and I'm totally down for it if the song sounds good and everyone is okay with it :vegas: Also I think it is a massive compliment when another artist samples another's work, as an artist myself (not of music but of painting and drawing etc) I have had people use my methods/used inspiration from my own work and I find it to be a huge compliment.

Chromatica will live on forever.
