Not having a license is an indicator you cant drive or having drinking problems with both of these you risk killing multiple people including yourself on the road. Unless of course you mean not having a gun license which is something I shouldnt have to explain why that is dangerous when there are several school shootings a day in this country. Did he reveal this to a counselor and they recommended taking his privilege of driving away? Hes going to jail because he broke being on probation due to a previous crime. He is a dumb ass and could have totally avoided it, but do not act like driving without a license automatically puts you in the same category as a murderer. Driving under the influence is one thing, driving without a license is another. Doesnt matter, both are bad in the eyes of the law for good reason. You learn these things while taking a driving test. I said driving without one is an indicator that you do not know how to drive or could have gotten it taken away for an alcohol violation. (Which is true. Read a DMV handbook sometime.)
