It's like you guys looking for an excuse to be offended. Because that word has been used to hurt us and we’re not exactly thrilled about it being used by a successful artist on a hot album. And it tell his edgy 14 yo stand that it’s okay to call the gay kids in their class homophobic slurs.

Just saying he referenced Tyler with it cause Tyler use it all the time. That's how they do it all the time in the Rap world. So it's not homophobia it's wordplay or a Hip Hop game between Eminem and Tyler., You are doing your very best to excuse him, but it doesn't slide. Sorry. He's caught bad reactions for using this word before, so he knows exactly what he's doing, exactly how it affects people, and exactly the reaction that this will receive. I guess he's just desperate for headlines since his last album bombed so hard with both critics and fans? If they do it "all the time" in the rap world, please give me other examples of other current, respected, multiplatinum hip-hop artists using this word towards queer people. I'm tired of people getting away with this ****. If a female rapper like Cardi or Nicki said this in a new song, they would be finished. His peers don't do it, why is it okay for Eminem? Usage of language on such a public platform is serious. It's bigger than him just being mean to one person. It's about validating the use of that word. This isn't like a SJWs getting offended about every tiny thing situation This is a slur that should be taken seriously. Luckily it is. But for some reason Eminem is stuck in the past it seems. weed 73,744
How can any of y’all defend his use of the word EVER lmao if you replaced every F word in his songs with the N-word ending in ‘er,’ no fucccing way would it be his “alter ego”/“just for fun”/“making a point” like people are sooo up his ass

All I'm saying is Eminem used that word for Tyler as Tyler use it all the time so it was wordplay that's it. If it helps you deal with the trauma that that word has inflicted you as a gay person than yes. It's kind of like black people using the n word. Not everybody agrees but it's not wrong either. You can't also cancel a legend the best selling rapper in history for over 2 decades. Watch me 25 minutes ago, AlejandroooO said: People been trying to cancel him all the time but at the end of the era his album sell 10-15M copies Ya cause Revival was such a smash success. Mess at me realizing this was the same person. Well, I guess if they don’t see the harm in it then they can keep on living their delusional life. Defending straight people who say f4ggot is just as bad as defending white people that say the N word, but go off. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. If you let singers words get you that mad and affect your life like that then the problem here is that you're over sensitive. As someone said here before we don't even know how Tyler will react maybe he knows that Eminem is always having fun with words and will take it easily. Just like Gaga has a di*k thing and she's a male lady , everyone said he's having fun with words even tho that's more offensive especially she's a female but you just see something about a queer topic y'all get crazy behind a screen. Thomas P 18,479
I would also like to say that it’s dangerous to use this word in music still. My sister said the word the other day and I got mad at her. Her response was “what it’s just a word I hear in a lot of songs, it’s not bad”. I explained to her what it meant and she felt really bad after. Moral of the story is that it’s dangerous to say this word cause it’s just encouraging another generation of kids that it’s okay. They don’t even understand what it means, they just use it because it’s still being normalized in society, and that needs to stop. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
