DiscoHeaven23 35,007
Since we're discussing here's Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You"'s charting performance on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has charted for 19 weeks Upon it's release it was not eligible to chart because it was not released as a commercial single and Billboard didn't let non-commercial songs chart at the time. This rule was taken away in 1998, which allowed the song to chart in 1999. After is dropped out it wasn't allowed to re-enter the chart because of Billboard's rule of not letting re-current songs re-enter the Hot 100. This rule was changed in 2012 and allowed songs to re-enter if they were in the Top 50. This let the song re-enter the chart in 2012 and it has charted during Christmas ever since. The rules now say that songs most have enough points to reach the top 25 in order to re-enter the chart. It has the potential to go Top 10 this year.
