Nobody is talking about illegal immigration (though crime rates among illegal immigrants is lower than crime rates of the general population anyway, so your argument would be moot even if we were). The refugee process is a legal process. By banning Syrian refugees, he is banning legal immigration. By banning immigration from majority Muslim countries, he is banning legal immigration. Syrian refugees already go through an extensive vetting process. Literally nothing you are saying is based on, and is actually counter to, facts.

How is this different than the US refusing to take in Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany? Because Syrians are dangerous and Jews are not? Your racism is showing.

This is different because we don't have another country taking millions of people and putting them in concentration camps, poisoning them. The UAE and other surrounding countries that are rich off of oil should be taking them in, it is not our responsibility. I have several articles of refugees raping, robbing, and destroying cities. I have pictures from European countries that took tens of thousands in and now it is a dump because they took over all the streets sleeping because they have no home. I think most of the refugees are good people and I feel so bad for them, I cannot imagine what they are going through, I have read books on them. But we have our own problems at home. We have military men and woman homeless on the street, our country is pouring in debt after debt, food stamps recipients and welfare is going up, the economy is barely growing. We need to put our country and our people first, our military first. We can't be the worlds military and we can't be the worlds housing center. And I apologize if you think I am racist because I am far from one, I don't have a drop of racism in my blood. I am a realist that doesn't live in a fantasy world where we help millions of people and we don't have to worry about money or paying, there are no Americans that are homeless, we need to let them in. The reality is we need to put America first, we have our own homeless people. Once we have taken care of everyone, then we could reach out.

But why isnt the UAE or other surrounding oil rich countries taking them in? Why is it our problem? Why do we have to be a poor homeless center where other countries dump the poor into our country so we can pay for them? Why is that?

I am Jewish. I go to Temple, I had a Bar Mitzvah, I graduated Jewish School. But feel free to read my entire statement on this matter.
