If promo is ok ( I am not saying great) MR will be her first #1 single in 6 years.

I said it was her most GP friendly song of her since the very first day

Carpool Karaoke's impact on Make Me:

4

Britney Spears - Make Me... (feat. G-Eazy) $ 0.4561 0.4490 0.4327 0.4186 0.4059 0.3995 0.3848 0.3685 0.3525 0.3392 0.3203 0.2808 0.2250 0.1725 0.1421 0.1283 0.0936

BUT we have to take into consideration that Closer was almost at its peak back then and the #1 right now is freefalling.

I know A-Yo can do well. But I would like Gaga to have a big hit so she's no longer in the shadow of Bad Romance, Poker Face and Born This Way. That's why I believe they have to do everything in their power to make Million Reasons be her biggest hit since 2011. It needs to become another staple in her career, one she'll sing in every world tour she does. I hope delaying its release won't hurt its success.

If she releases it with the Super Bowl as the third single, it will easily become one of her biggest hits.

I would prefer it already being a big hit during the Super Bowl so much that it's already up there with her previous hits in terms of familiarity and slayage :gaycat:

MR is no poker face or bad romance. It could become a hit, but not a bigger hit than Applause.

I think it will be a song that radio regrets not playing and thanks to that gets tons of recurrent airplay making it a signature song that is remembered but which never peaked high on the charts.

You're still living in Perfect Delusion :sis:

Million Reasons CAN and WILL be bigger than Applause.

But that's the thing... Even if she didn't release it pre super bowl, the SB audience is SO BIG that it will shoot up the charts. Especially if it's a new song.

I understand but how cool would it be that a new song from her new album is already a big hit that can stand proudly next to her smash monster hits! :firega:

her absolutely killing it with Spotify atm!
the fact a majority of tracks are 2mil+ with under a week is pretty fantastic.

also, let's acknowledge the true winner..

Hillary Lindsey, for writing both Million Reasons & A-YO
