There was Melania's speech. She "worked with speech writers for five to six weeks". I'm surprised it took that long, since they reworked part of Michelle's 2008 DNC speech. It was flat out plagerism. First, Trump is not homophobic. Second, "We are the Champions" is not a 'gay' song. The sexual orientation of the singer, it's irrelevant. I think you would have a case if Trump played "Let's Have a Kiki" or "Your Disco Needs You", but he didn't. First, Whether or not he is some level of "objectively" homophobic, he has said homophobic things in the past and is currently advocating to bring harm upon the LGBT community. It's more than enough. It doesnt even matter if he isn't personally believing what hes saying if he were to act upon it. Second, The point is that he would not have endorsed or allowed a man who plans to legalize discrimination against LGBTQ people the rights to use his song, dont be dense Also, he was not the only member of Queen Trump and co. defied currently living Queen's wishes by using the song as well. It was unauthorized and in bad taste. End of story Anyway OT The RNC is a damn MESS Have ya'll seen this?
