Memo 176
A cornered animal always fights back harder before it is defeated. Whats the saying "Don't go quietly into the night"? except animals have actual reasons to fight
PartySick 172,448
"Marriage begins with God, not the state" Actually marriage is a legal status, and in our secular United States "God" has no power in legislature. Matrimony is religious, it's also useless and until you sign the documents that says "you're married" you aren't married, no matter what ceremony you have at church or what a priest says. So suck it. HANZ 4,380
Another useless effort by these so-called religious leaders. Luiz 4,253
if they rule against same s-x marriage in 2015 i swear you gays need to stop being so ****ing rainbows and butterflies and have a good old fashion american RIOT. does anything significant in this country ever change without a little violence? w/e. I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.
Kayla 7,595
"A Child Needs a Father and a Mother" Because once you get married you HAVE to have a child. Because with all these kids in need of a loving family, they're better off living in foster homes than being adopted by homos-xuals. Because every child raised by heteros-xual parents has turned out just fine with no issues.
Cody Draco 2,531
When there are benefits to being married handed out by the state, then marriage is in fact not just a religious thing and should be available to all citizens of legal age. This is the "land of the free, and home of the brave" yet the bravest men aka gays aren't allowed to get married?
Mitch XCX 1,059
honestly idk why gays care so much to get married, its really old fashioned now. I can see where christians come from with wanting a man and a woman in marriage Im not a christian so i dont really care being against gay marriage is half ok but being against gay love is absolutely unacceptable and thats what these people are. Haroon 49,685
It's sad that they pick and choose what to fight against whilst totally disregarding and accepting other things directly related If marriage begins with God and not the state then why are marriage (and therefore religion) and state so interconnected? Either gay marriage needs to be legalised fully or religion and state need to be separated indefinitely - it can't go on like the way it is

Either gay marriage needs to be legalised fully or religion and state need to be separated indefinitely - it can't go on like the way it is Some people honestly would rather have this than make gay marriage legal Like what kind of "If I can't have my way, no one can" response 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

socotra 3,357
It's all in the way you interpret the Bible in my opinion... you can take it at face value (which so many unfortunately do, and that's where we get this ****) or you can look at the historical context and take into account the fact that the book was written by a variety of people in two different languages (Greek and Hebrew) that are not English. There is an interpretation of the Bible that says homos-xuality is not a sin and is actually acceptable. The interpretations I've come across make so much more sense than what these idiots have to come up with. It's a shame that they distort the Christian faith so far from what it should be. They make people hate Jesus, hate Christians, push people away instead of bringing them in and its so needless. It's ironic too because Jesus would not have been a Republican lmao
Batwings 12,957
Further thoughts on the idea of "marriage as a religious institution":A *very* basic understanding of history should convey to anyone that marriage is not solely a religious institution. Some of the most famous royal marriages in history were made solely for political reasons. If these people want to continue to display their ignorance, then let them.
