No Angel 128
Mariah is a living legend. She should have more respect here. You younglings don't even know.Hope she slays with her next effort, her vocal power seems to be diminishing though. She needs to come back hard and make sure she prepares properlly for her performances.Chillleeeeee.... the Ariana jokes can be amusing, but some people actually get serious when comparing the two and saying AG is better than her. Disrespectful, honestly...even though I like Ariana. But If I'm being honest here, Me... I Am Mariah... was not her best, but It has a lot of songs that are genuinely good. It's just overshadowed by the messiness displayed in 2014. I'm glad she's cleaning house and I hope that includes Jermaine Dupri and his tired ass. Serendipity 7,821
I don't think at this point in her career it's called a comeback. More like... Farewell Tour Mariah Version. wasn't this the same person who made a comeback after two enormous flops-critically and commercially and a canceled album See talent here-->http://bit.ly/2eqeUxK
Alii 2,039
Ariana's spot will be taken by an upcoming Disney/Nick star soon enough. Mariah's spot is as a legend. You know that Ariana doesn't even have a spot, right?
Serendipity 7,821
Are you talking about Mariah?I don't know that she has ever truly flopped I mean, I guess Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel and The Elusive Chanteuse weren't as popular as her best but I don't think there's such thing as a flop for a star like Mariah to be honest.the lead single of charmbracelet peaked in the 80sfor an artist who gets an average of 2 #1s per era, tell me if that is not a flop See talent here-->http://bit.ly/2eqeUxK

Cody Draco 2,531
This article reminded me of the Troy Carter (who left who) situation and the Madonna situation about not actually receiving an email. Mariah Carey insists her publicist didn't quit her ... she canned the publicist. TMZ obtained a letter which Mariah claims she wrote to famed publicist Cindi Berger, who has repped the singer for 15 years. Mariah says in the letter, "I've done a lot of soul-searching this past year ... and I found myself asking if I was truly employing a healthy perspective (not to sound too Oprah about it all :)." The singer goes on, "So I think it's time for us to take a break Cindi," saying she wants to "bring a fresh approach to this new phase in my career." We reached out to Cindi Berger's office, and they say they never received the letter ... ever. Sources connected with the publicist say she's the one who decided to end the relationship with Mariah. Things have gotten bitter fast. Mariah ended her letter by offering to put an ad in one of the Hollywood trade magazines honoring Cindi for winning a "Women of Power" award. Mariah's new manager, Stella Bulochnikov, tells us, they're pissed at Cindi because they think she leaked the story she quit Mariah, so they're not going forward with the ad. Alii 2,039
But Mariah is better than all of them. The queen stays unbothered.
Dominic 11,922
Wow, I feel more sorry for the team she fired who most im sure have families to support. Wont help her tho, I've never liked her and always thought she was a vicious woman, good vocals but awful attitude. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
LoveandMagic 1,731
I think she has the right idea. Hiring tons of new people with impressive resume's for many current hit artists is a smart more. It will bring fresh, new ideas to the forefront. She can be more confident moving forward and really focus on the music and performances. I am a bit concerned for her voice, since people are expecting her to hit several of those high notes again. Good luck, Mariah! Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
